I loved the original line up. Fortunate enough to see them live 1 time. Great show! Now seeing these old clips. It’s easy to see the real talent. Yes he had issues. But gene and Paul were and are just posers. That’s why they just use hired hands for a set wage. Greed is a powerful force.

Gene and Paul should thank God every day that Ace walked into the open audition that day. With 2 mismatched shoes and the natural feel he has for music. If not for that. They would not be millionaires. Ace was the only natural talent in the band. The rest were just studio tricks.

I don't know I just feel like he was a natural Genius play even whenever he improves at his own style he just makes the show so much intersting and even the letter albums he was able to produce many more masterpieces he is definitely out of this world I've never seen anybody put in so much life to a show is definitely a different type of Art

This a great freaking video, exactly what I was looking for! So number one, there’s no way a guy wearing 5 in platforms and playing the guitar like that can be f’d up. He had to have done most of his partying after the show. Second, even Ace said he couldn’t hold a candle to Page and Clapton, but damn, he still had some chops, and was way underrated

Met all 4 of them when I was 13 in ‘76 without makeup, the morning after the show in Indy. Gotta say Gene was the nicest followed by Paul. Ace was all F’d up but he signed my dollar bill. Peter didn’t want to sign it but his wife made him😮

Ace is so damn creative. He picked up a guitar and explored. And never stopped. It’s not merely music; it’s a Ride.

Honestly, most of the solos are easy, and sound similar. But, Ace has a certain feel, style and tone that's catchy, simple, rock and roll memorable! His picking technique is challenging for many to copy as he creates unique sounds by playing simple notes/bends. His Ace style!

He has style. Ace is completely himself, and that's what makes him great.

Such a shame.Ace and Peter are very talented musicians who caught up with two of the most greedy, self-serving,, untalented narcissistic assholes in the music industry.

They didn't sell 200 million albums and have SELL-OUT arena tours for [they're first] 20 years because their lead guitarist sucked. Between 1974-1990 Ace put guitars in more hands than Gibson.

When KISS was a real band and before we found out what greedy dbags Gene and Pual are! The last tour they sounded like it was all prerecorded music and that's because it was!
